Arlington is known for charming, historic neighborhoods scattered across the county. Barcroft, located just above Columbia Pike, features Barcroft House, built as a Methodist chapel in 1908. This one-room schoolhouse- the last remaining in Arlington County- is the heart of this community of 800 homes and 400 apartments. The schoolhouse is used today for community events and has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1995.
Our connection to Barcroft community runs deep, as Creative Director Anna Radjou grew up in the neighborhood, and here parents still live there. Anna wanted the community to have a design that captures the neighborhood's charm but with a contemporary feel.
Her winning entry was selected by a panel from the league, and is featured on their t-shirt and tote bags available for sale to their residents.
